I love this beautiful, one shoulder dress! The draping in the skirt reminds me of the two swaths of fabric found on the hips of Cinderella’s costume. The silver and pearl accessories add a touch of elegance, perfect for the formal look. Also, I thought that these pumps look a little like Cinderella’s glass slippers!
This Cinderella inspired outfit was based on the pre-fairy godmother outfit that Cinderella wore while doing chores. This timeless dress feels like something Cinderella would wear. The delicate, floral headband also is reminiscent of Cinderella’s beautiful, ladylike demeanor and style. Let me know which ones of these looks you like best in the comments below! Although this outfit is a pretty literal translation from Alice’s original costume, I think this is a really wearable, modern version. I love the combination of the mid-calf flowing skirt with the button down blouse with the bow detail tucked in. These heels have an ankle strap, just like Alice’s, and make the outfit a little more sophisticated. The headband is a really cute detail that finishes the look. Jasmine always had a seductive, mysterious air which is the main theme that I tried to replicate in this outfit. This simple bandage dress feels like something a modern Jasmine would wear, due to both the snug fit and color. This necklace is almost an exact replica of the one that she wears in the movie, but I continued the geometric gold theme with the earrings and cuff bracelet. When creating this look, I wanted to replicate the flowing, laid-back feel of Ariel’s original costume. This maxi skirt flows along the entire bottom half of the body and fits closely, just like the tail that is actually part of Ariel’s body. Also, this crop top is a more appropriate version of Ariels’ sea shells. When I saw this necklace, I knew it was perfect for Ariel! The coral detail has a beachy vibe. These gold gladiators are easy-to-wear and add a pop of color to this mermaid-inspired look. Let me know what you think of this look in the comments below! Have a magical day! ❤ Jessica
This first look is inspired by the playfulness of Aurora’s gown. The high-low hemline is the new take on a maxi, long look. The bow detail on the shoes and the sparkle of the earrings adds a girly element, perfect for her character.
This look is inspired by the shape of Aurora’s gown. Although I love the off-the-shoulder look, the one-shoulder neckline is the modern equivalent. I though these peep toe pumps were very appropriate for the theme, as the crawling vines on the heel replicate the forest of thorns that he prince had to chop through to reach her. The geometric shape of the gold earrings also was pulled from the similar-looking tiara.

When creating this outfit, I really considered Rapunzel’s character. Because she loves running and exploring, I see her wearing an outfit that is easy to move in, so I chose to use jeans instead of a skirt or dress. These colored jeans are a young, fun look that match the purple in her original costume. The camisole also mimics the fitted, corset type look of the costume’s bodice. The floral print of the camisole and the fun hair clip are nods to the point in the movie where Rapunzel has her hair decorated with wildflowers. When creating this outfit, I tried to replicate the effortless, book-worm feeling of Belle’s personality while using the color scheme of the grand ball gown. This cute belted sheath dress seems like something a modern day Belle would wear while visiting a library. The leather sandals and wide-brimmed hat continue with the casual, yet chic theme. I created this outfit as a modern version of Princess Tiana’s swamp wedding dress. The pumps have a beautiful flower attached to the side, reminiscent of the colorful flowers found in nature. Also, the gold chain necklace is embellished with flies, a nod to the frog theme. Let me know what you think of this look by leaving a comment below! Have a magical day! ❤ Jessica
